What We Believe
In 2009, Shepherd of the Valley members took part in discussions about our vision and mission as a Christian community. The consensus was that we shared the following values:
- We are centered on Christ.
- We all are broken and gather for healing, mercy, and a second chance. We welcome everyone.
- We gather to praise God with music and to learn together God’s will for our lives as revealed in Holy Scriptures.
- We are sent into the world to use the gifts God has given us.
As Lutherans, we subscribe to the ancient statements of belief of the Christian church: the Apostles Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Anathasian Creed.
