Pentecost Sunday is May 24
In the church year, the day of Pentecost is the culmination of the 50 days of the Easter celebration. After showing himself to the disciples and after having ascended, Jesus' followers received the promised gift of the Holy Spirit. Red is the color of Pentecost and is often worn that Sunday as a reminder of the fire of the Spirit.

Pentecost Potluck - Wear Red to Worship! And bring your Favorite Fire-colored Foods. i.e. Ham & Cheese tray, Pasta Dishes (Marinara or Cheese), Snickerdoodles, Fruits and Veggies that are red, yellow, orange or other fire colors. The potluck happens immediately following worship.
